  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Cilantro (finely chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Green chili (finely chopped) - 1 small
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Skewers (wooden or metal) - 4
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste, cilantro, green chili, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, salt, and lemon juice.
  3. Mix the ingredients well until fully combined, then cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  4. Soak wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes to prevent burning during baking.
  5. Divide the chicken mixture into four equal portions and mold each portion around a skewer, forming long kebabs.
  6. Place the kebabs on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, and brush with olive oil.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through, until the kebabs are cooked through and slightly charred.
  8. Remove from oven, let them rest for a few minutes, and serve hot with mint chutney or yogurt sauce.
