  • Green chili - 1, finely chopped (optional)
  • Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained chickpeas, chopped red onion, diced tomato, minced garlic, grated ginger, and finely chopped green chili.
  3. Add cumin seeds, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, olive oil, and salt to the bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated with the spices.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
