Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples - peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil - melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples with honey (or maple syrup), 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss until the apples are well-coated.
  3. Transfer the apple mixture to a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
  4. In another bowl, mix together the almond flour, chopped walnuts, melted coconut oil, remaining 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, and sea salt until crumbly.
