Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Cauliflower florets - 150 grams
  • Potato - 100 grams, boiled and diced
  • Onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Tomato - 1 medium, diced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Vegan mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  3. Add sliced onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the skillet. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the cauliflower florets, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the cauliflower is tender.
  5. Add the boiled and diced potatoes and garam masala to the skillet. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
  6. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a pizza stone or baking tray.
  7. Spread the diced tomatoes evenly over the pizza base, then top with the sautéed aloo-gobi mixture.
  8. Sprinkle vegan mozzarella cheese on top of the vegetables.
  9. Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the pizza and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
  10. Remove the pizza from the oven, garnish with fresh cilantro, slice, and serve hot.
