- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon

- Fresh cilantro - for garnish
- Water - 100 ml
Steps
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
- Add finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Stir in minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chili; cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the pureed tomato and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
- Sprinkle in turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt; mix well.
- Add the diced potatoes and cauliflower florets to the pan, stirring to coat with spices.
- Pour in the water, cover the pan, and let it simmer for about 15 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
- Once cooked, sprinkle garam masala on top and stir gently.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
