- Burger buns - 2 pieces
- Tahini - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons (chopped)
- Tomato - 1 medium (sliced)
- Cucumber - 1/2 medium (sliced)
- Red onion - 1/4 medium (sliced)
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef with zaatar spice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the tahini sauce by mixing tahini, lemon juice, and chopped parsley in a small bowl. Add a little water to thin it out if necessary.
- Toast the burger buns in a separate pan or in the oven until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun, topping with slices of tomato, cucumber, and red onion, and drizzling with the tahini sauce.
