  • Vegetable broth - 100 ml
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Red onion - 1/4, thinly sliced (for topping)
  • Kalamata olives - 50 grams, pitted and sliced (for topping)

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the diced onion until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the tomato paste, vegetable broth, lemon juice, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  5. Add the chickpeas to the mixture and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, until heated through. Remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley.
  6. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer it to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  7. Spread the chickpea mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  8. Top with sliced red onion and Kalamata olives.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.
