Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 250 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Red onion - 1 medium, sliced
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Zucchini - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cherry tomatoes - 150 grams, halved
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Vegan gyro-style seitan - 150 grams, sliced
  • Tahini - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Water - 1-2 tablespoons (to thin tahini sauce)
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to fit a 12-inch pizza pan.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough to the pizza pan and brush with olive oil.
  4. Spread the sliced red onion, bell pepper, zucchini, and cherry tomatoes evenly over the dough.
  5. Sprinkle oregano, salt, and black pepper over the vegetables.
  6. Top the pizza with the sliced vegan gyro-style seitan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. While the pizza is baking, prepare the tahini sauce by mixing tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, and enough water to reach a drizzling consistency.
  9. Once the pizza is done, remove it from the oven and drizzle the tahini sauce over the top.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before slicing and serving.
