- Red onion - 1 small, diced
- Cherry tomatoes - 150 grams, halved
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the whole wheat pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and diced red onion, sautéing until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until they start to soften.
- Stir in the fava beans, parsley, dill, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
