Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 100g
  • Unsalted butter - 50g, melted
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Feta cheese - 100g, crumbled
  • Cream cheese - 50g, softened
  • Oregano - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Egg - 1, for egg wash

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, melted butter, and 1 egg. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Press the dough into a greased 20cm (8-inch) pie pan evenly across the bottom and up the sides.
  4. In another bowl, mix crumbled feta cheese, softened cream cheese, oregano, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  5. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the crust.
  6. Beat the second egg and brush it over the top of the cheese filling for a golden finish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
