Ingredients

  • Pizza Dough - 200 grams
  • Ripe Tomatoes - 200 grams, sliced
  • Fresh Basil Leaves - 20 grams
  • Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Red Onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced
  • Kalamata Olives - 30 grams, pitted and halved

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to a thickness of about 5 mm.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Brush the garlic oil mixture evenly over the pizza dough.
  6. Layer the sliced tomatoes evenly on top of the dough.
  7. Scatter the thinly sliced red onion and Kalamata olives over the tomatoes.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  9. Remove the pizza from the oven and immediately top it with fresh basil leaves.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
