- Ripe tomatoes - 200 grams, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves - 15 grams, chopped
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Red onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon, dried
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Balsamic glaze - for drizzling
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil and minced garlic together, then brush the mixture evenly over the surface of the pizza dough.
- Layer the sliced tomatoes evenly over the dough, then sprinkle the chopped basil, red onion slices, oregano, salt, and black pepper on top.
