Ingredients

  • Whole wheat flatbread - 2 pieces
  • Cherry tomatoes - 200 grams, halved
  • Fresh basil leaves - 30 grams, roughly chopped
  • Red onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon, dried
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Balsamic vinegar - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat the tomatoes evenly.
  3. Place the whole wheat flatbreads on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Distribute the seasoned cherry tomatoes evenly over each flatbread.
  5. Add the sliced red onions on top of the tomatoes.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the flatbreads are crispy and the tomatoes are roasted.
