- Ground lamb - 300 grams
- Garlic cloves, minced - 2
- Red onion, finely chopped - 50 grams
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 30 grams
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Cucumber, grated - 100 grams
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, chopped red onion, chopped parsley, ground cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Divide the lamb mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty or kebab shape.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the kebabs for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 70°C).
- While the kebabs are cooking, prepare the cucumber yogurt sauce by combining Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, and lemon juice in a bowl. Mix well and season with salt to taste.
- Once the kebabs are cooked, serve them hot with the cucumber yogurt sauce on the side.
