- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon, dried
- Sea salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- White fish fillets (e.g., cod, haddock) - 200 grams, cut into chunks
- Shrimp - 200 grams, peeled and deveined
- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon - 1, juiced
Steps
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and diced onion, sautéing until translucent.
- Add diced red bell pepper and cook for another 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, vegetable broth, chili flakes, smoked paprika, oregano, sea salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Once simmering, add the white fish chunks and shrimp to the pot. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the seafood is cooked through and opaque.
- Remove the pot from heat and stir in freshly squeezed lemon juice.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
