  • all-purpose flour - 200 grams
  • warm water - 120 ml
  • active dry yeast - 5 grams
  • olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • salt - 1 teaspoon
  • crushed red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
  • mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • black olives - 50 grams, sliced
  • fresh oregano - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • red onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced
  • fresh arugula - 30 grams

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water and active dry yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Create a well in the center, then add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
  3. Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  6. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  7. Sprinkle crumbled feta, shredded mozzarella, sliced black olives, and red onion over the sauce. Add crushed red pepper flakes for spice.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh oregano and top with arugula before slicing and serving.
