- Ground beef - 300 grams
- Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
- Red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Lettuce leaves - 2 large
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Red onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
- Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, crumbled feta cheese, red chili flakes, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and chopped dill in a small bowl. Season with salt to taste.
- Once the burgers are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- To assemble the burgers, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom, followed by the burger patty, sliced tomato, red onion, and cucumber. Drizzle the yogurt sauce on top and finish with another lettuce leaf.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your spicy feta burgers!
