Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 300 grams
  • Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
  • Red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lettuce leaves - 2 large
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Red onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, crumbled feta cheese, red chili flakes, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and chopped dill in a small bowl. Season with salt to taste.
  5. Once the burgers are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  6. To assemble the burgers, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom, followed by the burger patty, sliced tomato, red onion, and cucumber. Drizzle the yogurt sauce on top and finish with another lettuce leaf.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your spicy feta burgers!
