Ingredients
- Chicken breast - 300 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lettuce leaves (Romaine or Iceberg) - 4 large
- Tomato - 1 medium, diced
- Cucumber - 1/2 medium, diced
- Red onion - 1/4 medium, thinly sliced
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
Steps
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, Greek yogurt, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
- Cut the chicken breast into strips and add it to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat and cook the marinated chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and slightly charred.
- While the chicken is cooking, prepare the lettuce wraps by washing and drying the lettuce leaves.
- Once the chicken is done, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into bite-sized pieces.
- To assemble, place a few pieces of chicken in each lettuce wrap, and top with diced tomato, cucumber, red onion, and crumbled feta cheese.
- Serve immediately with a drizzle of additional olive oil or a squeeze of lemon if desired.
