Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lettuce leaves (Romaine or Iceberg) - 4 large
  • Tomato - 1 medium, diced
  • Cucumber - 1/2 medium, diced
  • Red onion - 1/4 medium, thinly sliced
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, Greek yogurt, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into strips and add it to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat and cook the marinated chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and slightly charred.
  4. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the lettuce wraps by washing and drying the lettuce leaves.
  5. Once the chicken is done, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into bite-sized pieces.
  6. To assemble, place a few pieces of chicken in each lettuce wrap, and top with diced tomato, cucumber, red onion, and crumbled feta cheese.
  7. Serve immediately with a drizzle of additional olive oil or a squeeze of lemon if desired.
