  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Cornstarch (for dusting) - 50 grams

Steps

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the cornstarch and 250 ml of water, stirring to dissolve completely.
  2. Add the sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract to the saucepan, and cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens and becomes translucent, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Once thickened, remove from heat and fold in the chopped walnuts, chopped almonds, and cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly, and let it cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes until set.
