Ingredients

  • whole wheat flour - 100 grams
  • vanilla protein powder - 30 grams
  • baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • coconut oil - 30 grams, melted
  • honey - 50 grams
  • egg - 1 large
  • vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • orange zest - 1 teaspoon
  • sesame seeds - 20 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, vanilla protein powder, and baking powder.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, honey, egg, vanilla extract, and orange zest until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  5. Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a rope about 10 cm long, then shape into a twist or knot.
  6. Place the shaped cookies on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
