- whole wheat flour - 100 grams
- vanilla protein powder - 30 grams
- baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- coconut oil - 30 grams, melted
- honey - 50 grams
- egg - 1 large
- vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- orange zest - 1 teaspoon
- sesame seeds - 20 grams
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, vanilla protein powder, and baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, honey, egg, vanilla extract, and orange zest until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a rope about 10 cm long, then shape into a twist or knot.
- Place the shaped cookies on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
