Prawn Keftedes
Prawn Keftedes are delicious Greek-style seafood meatballs packed with flavor and high in protein. These tender and aromatic bites are perfect for a light meal or appetizer, served with a tangy dipping sauce.

Ingredients
- Prawns - 300 grams, peeled and deveined
- Red onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Lemon zest - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons (for frying)
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- In a food processor, combine the prawns, red onion, garlic, parsley, dill, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until the mixture is finely chopped but not pureed.
- Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add the breadcrumbs and egg. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
- Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the prawn keftedes and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with a side of tzatziki or lemon wedges.
