Ingredients

  • Potatoes - 400 grams
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • All-purpose flour - 50 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Peel and boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, mash the potatoes until smooth. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, dill, flour, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
  4. Shape the potato mixture into small patties, about 5 cm in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Brush the tops of the patties lightly with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the Keftedes are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
