- Long-grain rice - 150 grams
- Chicken broth - 400 milliliters
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Steps
- Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic to the saucepan and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Cut the pork tenderloin into bite-sized pieces and season with salt, pepper, oregano, and cinnamon. Add the pork to the saucepan and cook until browned on all sides, about 6-8 minutes.
- Stir in the rice and cook for 2 minutes, allowing it to absorb some flavors.
- Pour in the chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes until the rice is cooked and has absorbed the liquid.
