Ingredients
- Ground pork - 300 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
- Fennel seeds - 1/2 teaspoon, crushed
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Keto-friendly burger buns - 2
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
- Sliced tomatoes - 4 slices
- Sliced cucumber - 4 slices
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, minced garlic, dried oregano, thyme, crushed fennel seeds, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix well until fully incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into two equal patties, making them slightly larger than the keto buns to allow for shrinkage while cooking.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the pork patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F) and are nicely browned.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the keto-friendly buns by lightly toasting them in another pan or toaster if desired.
- Once the patties are cooked, place them on the toasted buns and top with crumbled feta cheese, sliced tomatoes, and cucumber.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your Pork Loukaniko Burger!
