Ingredients

  • Ground pork - 300 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
  • Fennel seeds - 1/2 teaspoon, crushed
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Keto-friendly burger buns - 2
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
  • Sliced tomatoes - 4 slices
  • Sliced cucumber - 4 slices

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, minced garlic, dried oregano, thyme, crushed fennel seeds, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  2. Shape the mixture into two equal patties, making them slightly larger than the keto buns to allow for shrinkage while cooking.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the pork patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F) and are nicely browned.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the keto-friendly buns by lightly toasting them in another pan or toaster if desired.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, place them on the toasted buns and top with crumbled feta cheese, sliced tomatoes, and cucumber.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your Pork Loukaniko Burger!
