Ingredients

  • Pork belly - 400 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Dried oregano - 2 teaspoons
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Wooden skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the pork belly cubes to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated pork belly cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and has a nice char.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
