Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pita - 2 pieces
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cherry tomatoes - 150 grams, halved
  • Red onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced
  • Kalamata olives - 50 grams, pitted and halved
  • Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
  • Fresh oregano - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil and minced garlic.
  3. Brush the pita breads with the garlic oil mixture on both sides.
  4. Place the pitas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Spread the halved cherry tomatoes and sliced red onion evenly over the pitas.
  6. Add the Kalamata olives and crumbled feta cheese on top.
  7. Sprinkle fresh oregano, salt, and black pepper over the toppings.
