Ingredients

  • Green peas - 200 grams (fresh or frozen)
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Onion - 1 medium, diced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Carrot - 1 medium, diced
  • Celery - 1 stalk, diced
  • Vegetable broth - 500 milliliters
  • Fresh dill - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Heat the olive oil in a medium pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion, carrot, and celery, and sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the green peas and vegetable broth to the pot, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped dill, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
