- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

- Black pepper - to taste
- Grated feta cheese - 50 grams (optional)
Steps
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the whole wheat pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the chopped mixed nuts to the skillet and toast them for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
- Once the pasta is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
- Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the toasted nuts and garlic, along with the lemon zest and juice.
- Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a light sauce.
