- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon zest - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh dill (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Parmesan cheese (grated, optional) - 30 grams
Steps
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but not browned.
- Once the pasta is cooked, reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and add it directly to the skillet with the garlic.
- Pour in the lemon juice and lemon zest, and toss the pasta to combine. If the pasta seems dry, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
- Stir in the chopped dill, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
