Ingredients

  • Whole grain pasta - 150 grams
  • Seedless grapes - 200 grams, halved
  • Extra virgin olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
  • Fresh basil - 10 grams, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. Cook the whole grain pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a little pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Add the halved grapes to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until they start to soften and release their juices.
  4. Toss in the cooked pasta and mix well with the grapes. If the mixture seems dry, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
  5. Stir in the crumbled feta cheese, chopped basil, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes if using. Mix until everything is well combined and warmed through.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional basil and feta if desired.
