Ingredients

  • Potatoes (Yukon Gold or similar) - 500 grams
  • Olive oil - 4 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Fresh oregano - 2 teaspoons, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your BBQ grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly, then cut them into wedges or bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, chopped oregano, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the potato pieces to the bowl and toss well to ensure they are evenly coated in the olive oil mixture.
  5. Place the coated potatoes in a grill basket or wrap them in aluminum foil to prevent them from falling through the grill grates.
  6. Grill the potatoes for about 30-35 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and tender when pierced with a fork.
  7. Once cooked, remove the potatoes from the grill and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
