- Black olives, pitted and chopped - 100 grams
- Fresh oregano, chopped - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a small bowl, combine warm water and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Mix well.
- Add the olive oil and the yeast mixture to the flour, stirring until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Incorporate the chopped olives and fresh oregano into the dough, kneading until evenly distributed.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
