Ingredients
- Octopus - 500 grams, cleaned
- Olive oil - 4 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Oregano - 1 tablespoon, dried
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
Steps
- Start by boiling the cleaned octopus in a large pot of salted water for about 30 minutes or until tender. Remove and let it cool.

- Cut the cooled octopus into manageable pieces, about 5-7 cm each.
- Marinate the octopus pieces in the mixture for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Grill the marinated octopus pieces for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until you see grill marks and the octopus is slightly charred.
- Remove from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
