Ingredients

  • White fish fillets (e.g., cod or halibut) - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Pita bread or corn tortillas - 4 pieces
  • Cucumber - 1 small, diced
  • Cherry tomatoes - 150 grams, halved
  • Red onion - 1/4, thinly sliced
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Plain Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Dried oregano - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Add the fish fillets to the marinade and let them sit for about 10 minutes.
  4. While the fish is marinating, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, dried oregano, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl; set aside.
  5. Grill or cook the marinated fish for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Warm the pita bread or tortillas on the grill or in a pan for about 1-2 minutes on each side.
  7. Once cooked, flake the fish into bite-sized pieces.
  8. Assemble the tacos by placing the fish on the warmed tortillas, topped with diced cucumber, cherry tomatoes, red onion, crumbled feta, and chopped parsley.
  9. Drizzle the yogurt sauce over the top and serve immediately.
