  • Lobster (live) - 500 grams
  • Ouzo - 100 ml
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Cherry tomatoes (halved) - 150 grams
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon (juiced) - 1
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the live lobster and cook for about 8-10 minutes until bright red. Remove from water, cool slightly, and then crack the claws.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
  4. Pour in the ouzo and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly, allowing the flavors to meld.
  5. Add the lobster pieces to the skillet, followed by the lemon juice, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything gently to combine and heat through for another 3-5 minutes.
  6. Serve the lobster hot, garnished with additional parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
