- Ouzo - 100 ml
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Cherry tomatoes (halved) - 150 grams
- Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon (juiced) - 1
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the live lobster and cook for about 8-10 minutes until bright red. Remove from water, cool slightly, and then crack the claws.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
- Pour in the ouzo and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Add the lobster pieces to the skillet, followed by the lemon juice, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything gently to combine and heat through for another 3-5 minutes.
- Serve the lobster hot, garnished with additional parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
