- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Greek yogurt - 100g
- Cucumber - 1/2, grated
- Dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Salt for tzatziki - 1/4 teaspoon
- Pita bread - 2 pieces (optional)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped oregano, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the lamb chops to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- While the lamb is marinating, prepare the tzatziki by mixing the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, chopped dill, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt in a bowl. Set aside.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated lamb chops.
- Cook the lamb chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- Remove the lamb chops from the heat and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve the lamb chops with the tzatziki sauce and warm pita bread, if desired.
