Ingredients
- Ground lamb - 400 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Red onion - 50 grams, finely chopped
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Romaine lettuce - 4 large leaves
- Tzatziki sauce - 100 grams
- Sliced cucumber - 50 grams
- Sliced tomatoes - 100 grams
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, chopped red onion, dried oregano, parsley, crumbled feta cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each into a patty, about 2 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the lamb patties and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 70°C.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the serving plates with 2 large romaine lettuce leaves per serving.
- Once the burgers are cooked, place each patty on the lettuce leaves. Top with tzatziki sauce, sliced cucumber, and sliced tomatoes.
