- Lamb shoulder - 500 grams
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Lemon juice - 30 ml
- Olive oil - 30 ml
- Dried oregano - 2 teaspoons
- Rosemary - 1 teaspoon, chopped
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
- Fresh parsley - 10 grams, chopped
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F).
- In a large bowl, combine minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, dried oregano, rosemary, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Cut the lamb shoulder into large chunks and add them to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight in the refrigerator for best results.
- Transfer the marinated lamb to a baking dish and cover tightly with aluminum foil to retain moisture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 2 hours, or until the lamb is tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
- Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve the lamb topped with crumbled feta cheese and chopped fresh parsley.
