Ingredients

  • Greek yogurt - 200 grams
  • Cucumber - 1 medium (about 150 grams)

  • Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/8 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Grate the cucumber using a box grater and place it in a clean kitchen towel. Squeeze out excess moisture until the cucumber is dry.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, minced garlic, chopped dill, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add the grated cucumber to the yogurt mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then refrigerate the tzatziki for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
