- Cream cheese - 50 grams, softened
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Ground lamb or chicken - 200 grams
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
- Red onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
- Tzatziki sauce - 4 tablespoons (for serving)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, shredded mozzarella, softened cream cheese, egg, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
- Press the dough into a greased 9-inch pie dish evenly across the bottom and up the sides. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- While the crust is baking, in a skillet over medium heat, add ground lamb or chicken, garlic powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the cooked meat mixture evenly over the crust.
- Top with halved cherry tomatoes, sliced red onion, and crumbled feta cheese.
- Return the pie to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the toppings are heated through.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with tzatziki sauce on the side.
