- Ground lamb - 250 grams
- Almond flour - 30 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Dried mint - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Feta cheese - 30 grams, crumbled
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons for frying
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, almond flour, egg, garlic powder, oregano, dried mint, salt, black pepper, and crumbled feta cheese.
- Mix the ingredients well with your hands until fully combined.
- Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 2.5 cm in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the meatballs to the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd them. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until browned and cooked through.
- Once cooked, remove the meatballs from the skillet and let them rest on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- Serve the Keto Keftedes warm, garnished with chopped parsley.
