Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 400 grams
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Red onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
  • Cucumber - 1/2 medium, diced
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, ground cumin, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into two patties and let them rest for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, diced cucumber, lemon juice, and chopped dill in a small bowl. Season with salt to taste.
  5. Once the burgers are done, assemble by placing each patty on a large lettuce leaf. Top with sliced tomatoes, red onion, crumbled feta, and a generous dollop of tzatziki sauce.
  6. Wrap the lettuce around the burger and serve immediately.
