  • Butter - 30 grams, melted
  • Erythritol - 20 grams
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Oil for frying - 250 ml

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, erythritol, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 2-3 minutes until smooth, then wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface until it's about 1/8 inch thick.
  6. Cut the rolled dough into strips about 1 inch wide and twist each strip into a bow shape.
  7. In a deep pan, heat the oil over medium heat until hot, then carefully add the twisted dough pieces in batches.
  8. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side, then remove and drain on paper towels.
  9. Once cooled slightly, dust with a little extra erythritol if desired and serve.
