Ingredients

  • Breadcrumbs - 30 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - for frying

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, mint, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and cinnamon.
  2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly with your hands until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls, about 2.5 cm in diameter, and place them on a plate.
  4. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Once the oil is hot, add the meatballs to the pan in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd.
  6. Fry the meatballs for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until they are browned and cooked through.
  7. Remove the meatballs from the pan and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve warm with a side of tzatziki sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
