  • Ground pork - 250 grams
  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely grated
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon, dried
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons (for frying)
  • Cucumber - 1/2 medium, grated
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste (for yogurt dip)

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, almond flour, egg, minced garlic, grated onion, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 3-4 cm in diameter.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the meatballs in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
  4. Cook the meatballs for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the yogurt dip by combining the grated cucumber, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and salt in a small bowl. Mix well and adjust seasoning to taste.
  6. Serve the hot keftedes with the cucumber yogurt dip on the side.
