- Pork shoulder - 300 grams

- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Potatoes - 400 grams, diced
- Water - 250 ml
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Steps
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the pork shoulder to the pot, seasoning it with paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Sear the meat on all sides until browned.
- Pour in the water, cover the pot, and reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer for about 45 minutes until the pork is tender.
- Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Toss the diced potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a baking dish.
- Roast the potatoes in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through until golden and crispy.
- Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the pot and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded pork to the pot and stir in the lemon juice.
- Serve the Kavourmas over the roasted potatoes, garnished with fresh parsley.
