- Swiss chard - 100 grams, washed and chopped
- Dill - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fennel seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled (optional)
- Pine nuts - 30 grams, toasted (optional)
Steps
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and fennel seeds, cooking for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the chopped spinach and Swiss chard to the skillet, stirring until wilted, about 5-7 minutes.
- Mix in the chopped dill and parsley, seasoning with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice.
- If using, sprinkle crumbled feta cheese and toasted pine nuts on top before serving.
