  • Swiss chard - 100 grams, washed and chopped
  • Dill - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fennel seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled (optional)
  • Pine nuts - 30 grams, toasted (optional)

Steps

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and fennel seeds, cooking for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the chopped spinach and Swiss chard to the skillet, stirring until wilted, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Mix in the chopped dill and parsley, seasoning with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  7. Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice.
  8. If using, sprinkle crumbled feta cheese and toasted pine nuts on top before serving.
