  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • White wine vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 200 milliliters

Steps

  1. Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces and season them with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add the seasoned pork belly pieces to the pan and brown them on all sides.
  4. Once browned, add the bay leaves, oregano, white wine vinegar, and water to the pan.
  5. Cover the pan and reduce the heat to low, allowing the mixture to simmer gently for about 1.5 hours, or until the pork is tender and the flavors meld together.
  6. Once cooked, remove from heat and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
