  • roasted chestnuts - 200 grams
  • maple syrup - 3 tablespoons
  • almond milk - 100 ml
  • cinnamon powder - 1 teaspoon
  • vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • toasted walnuts - 30 grams
  • cacao powder - 1 tablespoon
  • sea salt - a pinch

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. If the chestnuts are not roasted, score them and roast in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until tender. If they are already roasted, skip this step.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the roasted chestnuts, maple syrup, almond milk, cinnamon powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt.
  4. Using a fork or a potato masher, mash the mixture until it reaches a creamy consistency, leaving some chestnut pieces for texture.
  5. Divide the mixture into two serving bowls.
  6. Sprinkle toasted walnuts and cacao powder on top of each bowl for garnish.
