Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- If the chestnuts are not roasted, score them and roast in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until tender. If they are already roasted, skip this step.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the roasted chestnuts, maple syrup, almond milk, cinnamon powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt.
- Using a fork or a potato masher, mash the mixture until it reaches a creamy consistency, leaving some chestnut pieces for texture.
