- Ground beef - 300 grams
- Kalamata olives - 50 grams, pitted and chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
- Pita bread - 2 pieces
- Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Red onion - 1/4, thinly sliced
- Tzatziki sauce - 100 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped Kalamata olives, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and crumbled feta cheese. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 2 equal patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, warm the pita bread in a separate skillet or in the oven for about 2-3 minutes.
- Once cooked, assemble the burgers by placing each patty inside the warmed pita. Top with sliced cucumber, tomato, red onion, and a generous dollop of tzatziki sauce.
